Event Time and Date

Tuesday, March 28 2017, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Come talk about dating violence and learn about all of the great resources that Bridgewater State University Offers!

We will be hosting this event in Maxwell Library Room 013.

I AM THAT GIRL is hosting their first Dating Violence Open Forum: Supporting Survivors with support from The SVAC (Sexual Violence Advocacy Center)

There will be group activities and guest speakers including BSU campus PD officers Sergeant Kaitlyn Mori and Captain Michael A. Froio. We are here to help you learn about 'red flags', ways to get out of a bad relationship and how to know when you're in a dangerous relationship.

The goal is to take the leaders of different social circles and create a safe and open forum where they can explore the ideas, attitudes, and beliefs that cause bullying, dating and sexual violence in their lives. Through this discussion, we want to keep students from becoming victims or abusers but also teach them how to intervene in a safe and appropriate manner in situations of bullying/violence.
